    Summer Reading

To keep your readers busy this summer, there are a couple summer reading programs available.  Have your child participate in theses programs over the summer to earn some prizes while maintaining their reading skills! Visit their websites for more information.

Pikes Peak Library District - Have an adventure with Pikes Peak Library District Summer Adventure Reading Program this summer! Kids and teens (ages 0 - 18) can win prizes through reading and activities, and we will be hosting many free, fun events.

The adventure runs June 1- July 31. You will be able to sign up online or at the library starting June 1st.  Teens between the ages of 12-18 can also volunteer to help with the program!

Barnes and Noble - Summer Reading Program - this is a great program that rewards your student with a free book!  The Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program is here to help you on your way, encouraging you to read books of your own choosing and earn a FREE book, simply by following these three easy steps:

    1. Read any eight books this summer and record them in this Summer Reading Journal. Tell us which part of the book is your favorite, and why.

    2. Bring your completed journal to a Barnes & Noble store between August 1st and August 31st, 2019.

    3. Choose your free reading adventure from the books listed on the reading journal (found online at the link below).

Visit Barnes and Noble Summer Reading Program for more information and to print a journal.

    Summer Math

Complete the attached math packet and earn a PRIZE when you return it in August.
